Quilt #4 - the Wedding Quilt

Finally after almost a month, I find time to show you my quilt #4, which I made for my dear, dear friends - Marin and Branka.
I know Marin for a long time, we used to be neighbours. We drank so much coffee and juices while I was pregnant with my little girl and always have a good time. He moved back to his hometown, so we don't see each other much.

So Marin get married, first in Las Vegas ( in Kiss chapel ) and then have a party for friends in Zagreb. We had a great time!

And now something about a quilt.
I made a big one, 78"x78". Branka said she would like to be green and light blue, so I choose all colours I can find in my stash.
But I was short with time ( as always ) and choose this super cute chevron pattern by Jeni, In Color Order

Just love how it looks in any direction - take a look:

As it was huge, I need to adjust back fabric, this super cute fabric from ikea, with two stripes, green and grey.

I'm beginner quilter, so I don't have my quilt labels jet. I get some moda fabric with labels, and make them this cute one.

Quilted it on my own machine, following  chevron pattern of a quilt.

Hope they like it, as much as I do.

What do you think?

Zrinka xx
